Beginner's Guide
Here is a detailed guide for those that are new to the server. Includes a list of hotkeys and everything you will need.

Firstly: You need to create your character. Chose your parents, and personal information and your appearance. Once you’ve got your new threads, you’re ready to start your life and start a career directly.
In front of you, you will see a green marker. And you will be able to browse through 2 different list. 1 for whitelisted jobs. Those requires you to send an application which ends up in the job application channel on the server discord to be read. Before applying make sure to check your phone F1 (in settings) for your phone number. You will get an answer from a CEO as soon as possible up to max 24h. If you can't wait and wanna get started earning money. You can browse through the non-white listed job list and acquire a legal job directly.
There are many different career paths for your character to pursue. You can mine for gold, or even become a cop and help patrol the streets. On the other side of the law, you can work the marijuana fields, chop cars, and yes indeed; rob banks. Many of the legitimate jobs are viewable from your map, which you can get to by pressing P any time. They will appear as blips (or small icons) on your map. Don’t forget before you head out to your new employment opportunity to stop by The Police station and grab yourself a driver’s license or any license you may need though. It’s obviously illegal to drive without one! You can also buy a car at the car dealership.
Once you’ve accumulated a little cash, you will probably want to visit a Bank or an ATM. Both of these will allow you to deposit your hard-earned cash into your private account and be protected from the streets of Los Santos. Speaking of the streets…
Should you choose a life of crime and villainy, please remember that we have Law Enforcements that are constantly policing the streets. Should you find yourself in a precarious situation with the law, you can find yourself a lawyer and hire them to represent you… for a fee.
We also have the Los Santos EMS, which provided fire and medical assistance to the citizens in the state.
Lastly, we want to remind you about the rules of our server. A full & updated list can be found in here in our fandom DreamLife server rules section, but also on our elegant website . We do want to mention this though!: We are a serious RP server, which means if you are looking for a modified version of GTA Online, this is not the place for you. We want solid story lines and relationships between our characters.

Some stuff you’ll need to know in game
Use your map. Icons represent jobs, places of interest, and resources.
You can rent a car, but be sure to grab a driver’s license first, otherwise you may end up in trouble with the police.
Turn voice chat on
Press Escape > Settings > Voice Chat
Turn everything on, set all volumes high. Then press "N" to talk in game. You should be able to hear yourself, An indicator shows next to your on the bottom right when your mic is transmitting. And you can toggle voice range with "H" (Changing the push to talk to a side mousebutton is recommended!)

RDM, VDM, Racism, and OOC talk are NEVER allowed
Names must be realistic and cannot be celebrity or famous names
Killing or Robbing in ‘green zones’ is prohibited.

/911 Calls police to your location ( add message after the number to explain your call)

RP is everywhere in Los Santos. We don’t restrict it to certain areas and people can be found all over the state. There are many ways to make money in Los Santos. We will list some of them below:
Legal listed jobs are considered Primary Jobs. You can not have 2 listed Primary Jobs at the same time. If you want to earn extra money. You can work extra with Side Jobs or do Illegal activities on the side. Or even start your own company.

Requires you harvest drugs like cocaine, meth, opium & weed, process them and then sell at the NPC's at the docks. Or if you need a quick puck. Sell them to walking NPC within the city limits.
Chopping Cars
Requires you to steal a car(AI or player) then take to a hidden location for dismantling.
Professional Thief
You can rob players, several banks, and multiple 24/7’s throughout the city. Payout is based on when it was last robbed. You can also find car thievery rings in the city.
Quick FAQ!Why won’t my car move?
Press "G" to insert the key, and then press and hold it in again to start the engine. Note cars have endurance in our server, so the more mileage and damage the car sustained. The longer it might take to start the car. If it takes too long, you should start considering selling and purchasing a new vehicle.
Why can’t I steal a car?
You need a lockpick for most vehicles. Go to the convenience store and buy one. Look for the 24/7’s on the map.
How do I heal?
Use Medkits & Bandages. Call / text for EMS, type /103 + your message in the OOC chat or visit the hospitals.
I think someone is breaking the rules, how do I report them?
Join our discord! There is a player reports channel there that will allow you to report rule-breakers. Note that evidence in the form of a screenshot or video will help expedite your report.
How do I apply for a LEO/EMS position?
You can apply via the non-whitelisted jobs in the job center.
My screen is flickering
You are stressed out. Use, Cigarettes, drugs, alcohol, condoms, and even chocolate to mitigate stress levels.
